Terms of Service

TapAura provides digital business cards, NFC wristbands that open them, and a dashboard for managing your profile and the contacts you make. Creating an account and a digital card is free; physical bands are sold separately.

You must be 13 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private. One free digital card per account.

Everything you put on your card stays yours. You give us the limited license needed to host and display it to the people who open your card. Don't publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or impersonates someone else — we can disable profiles and devices that do.

No abuse of the exchange system (spam, scraping, automated submissions), no attempts to bypass rate limits or security, and no use of the service to harass anyone. Contact information people share with you through TapAura is shared for your follow-up — honor the consent wording they agreed to.

Physical bands carry a permanent TapAura URL. If you delete your account, your bands reset to factory state and can be claimed again. Hardware purchases are covered by the terms presented at purchase.

We may update, add, or remove features as the product evolves. You can stop using TapAura and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

TapAura is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
